Grown in Noto, in the south of Sicily, the Sicilian Boniviri toasted almonds are of the Pizzuta di Avola variety, among the most precious and chosen for Sicilian haute cuisine and pastry.

Fruits of the sun and of the patience of Sergio and Marianna, our Boniviri farmers, they are grown in full respect of nature and its times, preserving the local agro-food heritage.

For your 250 g reserve we have also decided to toast them, thus improving the nutritional, as well as sensory, profile of the almond. The high temperature is responsible for the formation of compounds that give the aroma and a strong taste to the toasted almonds, as well as favoring the release of polyphenols with antioxidant action, linked to the peel.

The toasted almond has greater digestibility than the non-toasted one, thanks to the formation of microfractures and the increased permeability to gastric juices.

We also have packaged in jar, so you can reuse it once finished, and the label was made of paper obtained from agro-food waste, in full Boniviri mission.
